What is Lifelight Connect?

Lifelight Connect is a mobile app available on iOS and Android that gives you access to the Lifelight medical device technology. It allows you to take software based blood pressure and heart rate readings using your smartphone camera, and share a summary report with your doctor or nurse.

Lifelight Connect provides access to Lifelight, a CE certified Class IIa medical device, available in the UK and EU. Please read the following carefully:

  • Lifelight is intended for spot-check measurement of blood pressure and heart rate only. It is not intended to replace professional medical advice.
  • Only a healthcare professional can diagnose conditions related to blood pressure or heart rate.
  • If you are concerned about your results or feel unwell, please contact a qualified healthcare professional.
  • If you believe a Lifelight reading may have affected a clinical decision or caused harm, please contact us immediately at connect@lifelight.ai — we treat all such reports as a priority.

Frequently asked questions

Sit comfortably and keep still during the reading. Ensure your face is evenly lit — avoid strong backlighting. Hold your phone steady at eye level. Avoid taking readings immediately after exercise, caffeine, or smoking. The app will guide you through each step.
Lifelight Connect works with a range of validated iOS and Android devices. View the full validated device list on our website, or contact us at connect@lifelight.ai if you have any questions about your specific device.
The app displays your blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and heart rate. It does not provide a diagnosis. If your readings are consistently outside the normal range, or if you have any concerns, please speak to a healthcare professional.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) — not through Lifelight directly. To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings and select Lifelight Connect. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Your measurement data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. We do not share your personal health data with third parties. Please see our Privacy Notice for full details.
